GASTRONOMIC FESTIVAL

June 26 to 30

Join us for our annual Gastronomic Festival at Valle Nevado from June 26 to 30. For four days Valle Nevado will present a variety of gastronomic events with top chefs that include cooking demonstrations and special dinners that celebrate fine dining and international cuisine.

Every day, an invited chef will focus on a specific culinary specialty and discuss the food style in-depth, followed with tastings. In the evening, chefs will host culinary galas in a variety of Valle Nevado's restaurants, accompanied by music from the cuisine's region, including Latin American, French, Spanish and Italian cuisine. One evening the resort will host a Thai dinner at the Bajo Zero restaurant on the mountain, giving diners a chance to ski back to their hotel under the stars. The final night, there will be flamenco dancing, a casino, and a closing party in the Pub Tres Puntas. Guests will also be able to savor fine wines from Chile with two afternoons of wine tastings in the Bar Puerta del Sol.



CHILE WINE FEST

August 21 to 27

Valle Nevado will host the annual Chile Wine Fest from August 21 to 27. This event brings together top Chilean wineries, both well-known and smaller boutique wineries you may have never heard of, for a series of wine tastings, special wine purchasing deals, evening activities, and more. Expert enologists will be on hand to provide guests with an in-depth background into the history of wine in Chile, varieties produced in the country, and of course, sampling the wine itself at wine tastings.

Every day, Valle Nevado's restaurants will spotlight a specific wine that will be available for purchase by the glass or bottle at a 40% discount. The resort will also offer guests special wine packs at a promotional price that they can enjoy while at the resort or take home with them. Daily activities also include an afternoon wine tasting at Valle Nevado's mountain restaurant Bajo Zero and an evening wine tasting and lecture at the bar Puerta del Sol. Other exciting activities include:

Sunday evening Torchlight Parade and welcome drink at the Valle Lounge.
Wine Tasting Dinner at the Bajo Zero restaurant, serving 3 courses paired with a variety of wines. Return to the resort by skis or snowboard (this event is an additional cost).

Wine Gala: A variety of wineries come together for special wine tastings at booths at our shopping avenue.

Thursday evening Wine Casino at the Puerta del Sol bar, which will be transformed into a casino with roulette, poker, craps and blackjack tables.

WINE PAIRING EVENTS

July 2 - 8

This 6-day event celebrates Chilean wine and offers our guests an opportunity to learn more about pairing wines with food. The nightly event, hosted by the wine distributor DESA, takes place in our gourmet restaurant La Fourchette, and will feature a tasting menu paired with wines from the following wineries: Errazuriz, Quintay, Casa Marin, Undurraga, Santa Cruz, and Oveja Negra. Representatives from each winery will provide background information about the winery, and the kinds of wines produced. Guests must sign up to participate as space is limited.
