Amazing Aspen – Just might be the best value in western skiing

I suppose I have a bias, living just 40 minutes from Aspen. But when you look at the stats – and the value, there are a lot compelling reasons to choose Aspen / Snowmass.

The stats are impressive, among the best.

Four outstanding mountains, each with its own personality, all on one lift ticket. That’s about 5,000 acres of skiing altogether – and up to 4,000 vertical (Snowmass) of varied ski terrain. Were talking big here.

A major jetport, Sardy Field, just 2 miles from downtown Aspen. You just can’t get any closer than that.

Free ground transfers. Many of the hotels and condominium properties offer free transfers from Sardy Field to your lodging. That represents a big savings – particularly for a family.

Superior weather patterns (even when compared with the rest of the west). Aspen / Snowmass enjoys ample sunshine and abundant, generally dry snow (about 300 inches) every winter.
