The Jackson Hole Mountain Resort opened the brand new 100 passenger tram on Saturday morning to much hoopla from skiers & riders.
The new tram will whisk skiers and riders to the top of Rendezvous Mountain in nine minutes, shaving 3 minutes off the old ride.
The Jackson Hole Ski Corporation put on a Hugh show Friday night with the grand unveiling of the new tram design, followed by fireworks amidst a great omen of pounding snow.
Saturday morning followed with opening ceremonies at 9 am, followed by 6 VIP cars and the the new box opened to the public promptly at 11 ish AM.
Local skiers and riders are all raving about the NEW -Big Red Box.
4,139 vertical feet of pure mountain pleasure await those who come to visit Jackson.
