Living the Mountain Lifestyle inDillon/Breckenridge/Copper& Keystone, Colorado

A report from Mark Hotop, a Ski Organizer sales agent reporting from the mountains of Colorado.

12/12/08. I moved from Vail to Summit County to enjoy the night skiing that Keystone has to offer. No other resort has that option in Colorado. I now live in Dillon and cannot get any closer without living in Keystone. This is not the point of the story.

Some friends and I were going to go to Vail for "Vail Daze" concerts tonight (Saturday, tickets in hand) and we noticed that it was a ‘Winter Storm Advisory’. We were the wiser and stayed home to enjoy a local dinner special at Pug Ryan’s Brewery & Steak House.

We talked to our friends in Vail and they said that it was snowing hard; 2 hours later and it is DUMPING here!

Colorado Department of Travel (CDOT) is calling for extreme snow conditions in Eagle County (Vail), and we are seeing the same affects here in Summit County. WOW is it going to be a powder day tomorrow! The cool thing is that is there is another storm lined up off the Northern Coast of the US that is aimed to hit CO. Let it SNOW. Hopefully it will continue to be the 10yr cycle that seems to bless the mountains! They are calling for up to 20 inches out of this one.

Let Mark help yu plan that perfect getaway to Colorado.
